The CPCA is partnering with the Saskatoon Nordic Ski Club to kick off the family skiing season with a Ski Day in Kinsmen Park on Saturday, December 21st at 2:45-3:45 pm.

There will be an led, parented ski for young families, targeting kids with some experience (equivalent to completing the Bunnyrabbits program) meeting at the East parking lot by the Ferris Wheel.

Older families are welcome to join and ski at their own pace!

The event is open to all members of the CPCA or the SNSC. Please RSVP to cityparkcommunity@gmail.com so we know who is coming and we can let you know if we have to cancel (windchill below -22 C). You may indicate if you’re interested in learning more about the SNSC family program which will continue throughout the winter.

It’s that time of year again! Our community rink is getting ready for another season, and we need your help! Join the Rink Crew by contacting the Rink Coordinator at rink@cityparksask.ca and let us know how you can help: we are looking for volunteers to help shovel snow, flood the ice or supervise during public skating hours.

Check the Community Rink and Warm-up Shack page for updates about shack / public skate times once the ice is ready.

There will be pizza provided by the CPCA for members.

We are always looking for more volunteers, please consider contributing to your neighbourhood community!
