This is a new initiative by the Animal Services Division intended to help get the parks ready before the cold weather comes. On October 4th dog parks throughout the city (including the new Caswell Hill dog park even though it has not been fenced yet) will take part in this clean up.
Drinks, snacks, gloves & extra pick up bags will be available from 11:00 am – 2:00 pm at all the dog parks. Please see the attached poster for details.

BIKE PARADE!!!!!!!!
There will be a bike parade to kick off the community potluck this Sunday. Have your children come dressed in costumes and have your wagons, bike trailers and bikes and decorated for the event. We will do a short circle around Wilson park and then join the potluck. There will be a prize for best costume!
The bike parade will start adjacent to the Wilson park playground at 5 pm.
All ages welcome and furry creatures as well!
